The Pearson & Company Architects collection contains drawings and plans for construction of new buildings, and renovations of existing structures in New Mexico. These drawings include construction documents, plans, sections, elevations, perspectives, concept studies and process work. Several projects in this collection were done by Hoshour & Pearson. Some significant projects represented in the collection include: the Kimo Theater renovation, Sunset Memorial Park, Museum Shoppes, City of Rio Rancho works and Mother Whiteside Memorial Library.

Dan Pearson worked with principle architect Harvey Hoshour until 1983. At that time, Pearson became a partner in the firm of Hoshour & Pearson Architects, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After Harvey Hoshour passed away in 1988, Dan Pearson formed his own firm named Pearson & Company Architects, where he worked until his retirement in 2001.
